The Song
by Mary Ré
Like a rainbow bursting in a sky of gray,
I search for a soul to take my heartache away.
In a world full of oceans of despair,
Desperately waiting and wanting to care.
Soaking up this shimmering moon and all of its light,
I search in my soul with all of my might.
Such mysteries perhaps could be a great song
Only minutes in length, but an eternity long.
It's chorus grasps at my melting heart and cries,
Respecting it's pain the chorus dies.
I look to the sky and see a rainbow.

Solace
by Lawrence Hoppis
I thought I heard an angel cry
And moved me with a silent grief.
It made the breezes even sigh
On bow and trembling leaf...
Translcent beauty in the sky
What sorrow lends thee pain?
I would that I could reach thee by,
And enjoin it to refrain.
Or succor thee against thy fears
Thy feet my waiting limbs to touch
And find the Solace of the Years
Awaits thee always inasmuch...
