hi there,
wow, such accolades! wait a minit while i uninflat the ego....;-)
i am always blessed and inspired anew when i receive letters like yours. i get a fair amount of "weird" email, so your letter is among those i treasure.
i have learned (finally) that one statement Christ made is indeed the key to it all... "love God with all your heart and mind and body and spirit, and your neighbor as yourself." the problem is, that many people do not love themselves, so how can they love others and how could they love a God whom they fear couldn't really love them, because they don't love themselves. it gets more muddled as it goes on and the personal pain from love and self-love deprivation seems to increase exponentially.
when He said "...come as a child..." He really meant it. children fit paul's description of love so beautifully. they believe all, trust all, never keep a record of wrongs, forgive so readily, so easily... and they are not afraid to love... nor are they afraid to play. love and play. two things no one ever gets enough of. i hope you get to play a lot. i pray you get to love deeply, richly, extravagantly and that you in turn are loved deeply, richly, and extravagantly.
oops, sorry for "waxing elephant"... a friend left that thing here and i haven't been able to get rid of it... so i just keep waxing and waxing and waxing... i tried to pack it up and send it to him, but it seems to like the way i can get so carried away... waxing, that is... ya know,... waxing elephant... ah, well, no body ever expects the spanish inquisition... do they...
hhhmmmmm, maybe i should go clean my room or play magic marbles, or.....
thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. i really appreciate it.
i am so well cared for by my Father. He lavishes friends on me, bringing the most wonderful people into my life. may the Beloved rest the fullness of His glory upon you and give you such peace as your heart has yearned for.
remember His hands,
