So, perhaps you're not
so frail,
white hybrid flower--

I've noticed
that the violent breezes
only seem to strengthen you.

The Son's warmth only makes
your subtle fragrance
pungent!

But my hands still want
to cup around--
to still
one near-translucent petal's
tremble.
